» Welcome to Ninja6Zone |
In 1995 Kawasaki released the Ninja ZX-6R motorcycle, since then the green machine has developed an almost cult like movement amongst riders. The 6R has seen modifications from 599cc's to 636cc's and back, in addition the limited edition 6RR which was bread purely to be raced. Since their inception the 6R series has been turning heads on the pavement, so it just seemed logical to have a place to talk about them when summer days have gone, and the next trackday is still a few days away. Thus, Ninja6Zone was created, and is currently the only site dedicated solely to the ZX-6R. Not only is Ninja6Zone the place to come to talk about bikes, but it also is a strong community of bikers who share interests outside of riding. Whether you're new to riding, or a seasoned racer, there is something for everyone in the Zone. Come on in and scrub the tires.

Asphalt & Rubber Motorcycle Blog |

From the creators of great motorcycle boards like ninja6zone.com, comes Asphalt & Rubber: a blog with motorcycle news, rumors, racing, and more.
I've been frustrated for some time now that there isn't a quality motorcycle news blog on the internet. Most of the ones our there are web portals that smell more like digital versions of their monthly printed publications. The auto industry has great sites like autoblog.com and jalopnik.com, so why not motorcycles?
Well after waiting, hoping, wishing for some time that one would emerge, i've said screw it...I'll do it myself. So for the past few weeks, I've been quietly toiling away in my lab trying to make this thing happen. I've got a few weeks worth of news stories now, with about 3-5 or so being published per day. That aside, today marks the official launch of the Asphalt & Rubber website, but I wanted to tell you guys first.
Now, I'm only one man, and I can only write so much. So, I'm looking for people who are interested in writing on motorcycle news. Writing not your thing, that's fine. Read the blog and enjoy, but tell your friends and others on any other board you know.
Comments, criticisms, and suggestions, as always, are welcome.
that link again is: asphaltandrubber.com

2009 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R looks just like ZX-10R, uses Showa Big Piston Front fork
The new 2009 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has been updated to look just like its bigger brother, the ZX-10R. Aside from the new looks and 10kg (20lb) lopped off the weight, the headline feature is the first use of Showa’s Big Piston Front fork technology. Eliminating most of the internals associated with traditional cartridge forks, the BPF is simpler and lighter while providing better feedback and smoother action.
